NFL Rumors: New England Patriots Rookie Receiver Suffers Collarbone Injury
New England Patriot's rookie wide receiver Tyquan Thornton reportedly suffered a collarbone injury Friday, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Thornton, who was drafted by New England in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, has impressed in camp thus far and is to play a vital role in the Patriots offense, Rapoport adds. A timetable for a return remains unclear.
The 22-year-old prospect out of Baylor impressed the Patriot's brass enough to be drafted as high as he did and also recently caught a touchdown in preseason as well.
