Minnesota Vikings Release Defensive Tackle
The Minnesota Vikings are a team with potential in 2022, and after seeing the Green Bay Packers become just a little bit weaker in the off-season, there's no doubting that this team believes it's time to take advantage and make a move in the NFC North. Unfortunately for third year defensive tackle Ty McGill, he won't be a part of that, as Minnesota decided to cut the former un-drafted free agent, who's spent the better part of the last 7 seasons trying to find a spot on an NFL roster.
Although he looked impressive in the pre-season, Minnesota just couldn't find a spot on the roster for him, but after plenty of experience in the NFL over the past 7-years, there's no doubt a team that can use him for depth. Over McGill's career, he's registered 5.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble, and while he's not going to join a new team and become a star, he's certainly a role player that a playoff team could use in 2022.Vikings are releasing DT TY McGill.
