Lamarcus Joyner Chose Between The Jets Or Retirement This Off-Season
For many, the New York Jets aren't an attractive destination, as despite playing in the biggest market in the world, they've struggled to put together a winning team over the past decade, but things could potentially be turning around. With Joe Douglas as General Manager and Robert Saleh as Head Coach, the Jets have attracted names like Laken Tomlinson, CJ Uzomah and Carl Lawson, but the head coach is so likeable, that one player told his agent this off-season, it was the 'Jets or Nothing'.
Lamarcus Joyner said he was either going to re-sign with the #Jets or retire. He told his agent it was Jets or nothing.

He loves playing for Robert Saleh and the organization that much.
Joyner, who will be the teams starting safety along with Jordan Whitehead for the 2022 season was unable to contribute much to New York a year ago, suffering an injury in the teams first game, but this desire to return to the Big Apple says a lot about the culture the Jets seem to be building.
With young guys like Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, Elijah Moore, Zach Wilson and so many more, many believe that this team has a chance to break out in 2022, and it's clear that Joyner is aware of that potential too. It's hard to say what his market would have been if he had tested free agency, but this shows just how much Robert Saleh inspires his players, and could be a sign for other players in the coming years to join Saleh and the Jets.
