Kansas City Chiefs Waive Cornerback
The Kansas City Chiefs have waived Lonnie Johnson Jr. Now, he will have the chance to be a free agent and try to find a new home before the start of the regular season.
Johnson Jr. joined the Chiefs this offseason after a three-year stint with the Houston Texans. He was aiming to cement himself a permanent spot on their NFL roster, but that, unfortunately, did not come to fruition.
In 44 career games, Johnson Jr. has recorded 55 combined tackles to go along with three interceptions.
