Giants Pass Rusher Expected To Be Okay After Injury Scare
Azeez Ojulari was a second round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, and had a very successful rookie campaign, as he set the Giants rookie record for sacks in a season with 8, and he was expected to be a huge part of this defence in 2022. Yesterday however, Ojulari left practice with what seemed to be a lower body injury, and there were fears among Giants fans and the organization that he could have suffered a serious injury.
Thankfully, after receiving an MRI, it came back negative, and it appears that Ojulari will be okay going forward, and while we haven't got a timetable for his return, it's very positive news for a team looking to compete in the NFC East in 2022. There's been so much injury news around the league as of late, that good news like this is hard to come by, and after getting relatively good news on Kayvon Thibodeaux last week, the Giants have again managed to avoid a serious injury.#Giants pass-rusher Azeez Ojulari, who left practice early with a lower bosy injury, just underwent an MRI and is expected to be OK, I’m told. Nothing major.

They've also lost some players for a long time due to injury, so much so that it's safe to say Giants fans would be happy if the starters just rested until the regular season begins to avoid any further poor luck and injuries.
