Dallas Cowboys Left Tackle To Have Surgery
Tyron Smith is set to have surgery on his torn hamstring and will be out until at least December because of it.
When it was announced that Smith suffered such a serious injury earlier this week, many expected that he would be out long-term. Now, it has been confirmed that surgery is required to fix it, so the veteran will be out for a notable chunk of the year because of it.
Smith has spent the entirety of his 144-game career with the Cowboys, so his absence will be quite noticeable. Furthermore, he is an eight-time Pro Bowler, having made his last appearance in 2021.
