Saints Re-Sign Star Linebacker
The New Orleans Saints have signed linebacker to a one-year contract extension through 2024, according to ESPN's Field Yates.
The deal gives Davis $2-million incentives each season through 2024 while dropping his base salary in 2023 from $8.5 million to $8.25 million. The Saints added a 2023 workout bonus for $250,000 and fully guaranteed $1 million of his $8.25 million base salary for that year.

Since joining the Saints in 2018, Davis has been one of the Saints' best players, being named an All-Pro each of the past three seasons.
The thirty-three year old has three straight seasons of triple-digit tackles with 16 sacks.
