Ravens QB Wants to Stay Long-term

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson voiced his desire to spend the rest of his career with the team. This coming season is the final year in Jackson's contract. Following the 2022-2023 season, the QB will be an unrestricted free agent.

The 2019 NFL MVP has been discussing his contract with Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta according to The Athletic.

Jackson skipped OTAs in May and June for the first time in his career, but is attending the Ravens' mandatory mini camps, which is a good sign.

The quarterback had 767 rushing yard last season placing him second in that category among QBs. Jackson threw 16 touchdowns for 2,282 yards and rushed 2 himself. He also had a solid 64% completion rate.

The news that Jackson is hoping to re-sign long-term with the Ravens comes as a relief for Baltimore fans who appreciate the hardworking and reliable quarterback.
