Fitzpatrick hasn't given an official announcement yet, but it's clear that his time is coming to a close with that text. He put up a memorable 17-year career, as the 39-year-old set a record for starting for the most teams in NFL history (nine). That is taking the "journeyman" title to a whole new level.
In 166 career games between the Rams, Bengals, Bills, Titans, Texans, Jets, Buccaneers, Dolphins, and Washington, he threw 223 touchdowns, 169 interceptions, and 34,90 yards. He never appeared in a playoff game, as he had a 59-87-1 record as a starter. Yet, his career was such a fun one to watch.
Nevertheless, enjoy your retirement, Ryan!
