Packers Sign Cornerback To Extension
The Green Bay Packers are set to sign Jaire Alexander to a four-year, $84 million contract extension.
Alexander has blossomed into an immensely important part of Green Bay's roster, and this extension is a clear indicator of that. The team missed him this season, however, as he was limited to just four games due to a shoulder injury. However, with this new extension, he will be ready to go for Green Bay for several more years.
In 48 career games with the Packers, Alexander has 188 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks, and five interceptions. With that, he made his first Pro Bowl appearance during the 2020 season.
