NFL Rumors: Browns To Sign Tight End To Extension

According to Mary Kay Cabot, the Cleveland Browns are close to signing David Njoku to a contract extension.

Njoku just completed his fifth season with the Browns, and it was another solid one from the tight end. In 16 games, he recorded four touchdowns, 36 receptions, and 475 yards. Overall, with these kinds of numbers, it's understandable that the Browns are open to keeping him around for multiple more years. We will have to keep our eyes open for the official extension from here.

In 65 career games with the Browns, Njoku has 15 touchdowns, 148 receptions, and 1,754 yards.
