Jets Release Guard
The New York Jets are continuing to make changes, as they now have released Greg Van Roten from their roster.
Earlier this week, the Jets claimed Nate Herbig from the Philadelphia Eagles, so this made Van Roten expendable. Now, the veteran guard will be looking to find a new home elsewhere.
When looking at Van Roten's overall experience, he should get some attention as a free agent. He has been a full-time starter in this league since 2018 and has played in 77 career games between the Packers, Panthers, and Jets. It will be interesting to see where the 6-foot-3, 305-pound veteran ends up from here.
