Falcons Release Running Back
The Atlanta Falcons are continuing to make changes, as they have now released Mike Davis.
Davis completed his lone season with the Falcons in 2021. In 17 games, which included eight starts, the veteran running back had three touchdowns, 138 rushes, and 503 yards. Overall, he had some moments where he made an impact, but at the end of the day, it wasn't enough for him to stay with Atlanta.
Now, Davis will be aiming to find a new home elsewhere in the NFL. Teams looking for a bit of experience at the RB position could consider him for sure. In 79 career games between the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, and Falcons, he has 14 touchdowns, 550 rushes, and 2,034 total rushing yards.
