Colts Officially Sign Quarterback
Earlier this week, we reported that the Indianapolis Colts were inching closer to signing Nick Foles. Now, they have officially signed the quarterback to a two-year contract.
Although Foles will not be taking the starting job away from fellow newcomer Matt Ryan, he will provide them with an experienced backup. This is a role that Foles has become quite used to over his career, so at the end of the day, there isn't much harm in giving him this deal.
In 68 career games between the Eagles, Rams, Chiefs, Jaguars, and Bears, he has thrown 82 touchdowns, 43 interceptions, and 14,003 yards. Yet, he is most remembered for leading the underdog Eagles past the Patriots during the 2018 Super Bowl.
