Browns Re-Sign Defensive End
The Cleveland Browns have signed Jadeveon Clowney to a one-year contract.
Clowney spent the 2021 season with the Browns and will now be returning to Cleveland with this development. In 14 starts for the team this season, he had 37 combined tackles to go along with a solid 9.0 sacks. He will continue to be a key part of their defense moving forward.
Clowney's strong amount of NFL experience is likely a big reason why the Browns opted to give him another one-year deal. In 97 career games between the Texans, Seahawks, Titans, and Browns, he has 292 combined tackles, 41.0 sacks, and an interception. With that, he is also a three-time Pro Bowler.
