NFL Rumors: Veteran WR Considering Retirement
While speaking with Ashley Nicole Moss of Sports Illustrated, DeSean Jackson stated that he is considering the possibility of retiring.
At this point in the offseason, Jackson is currently a free agent. The veteran receiver spent the 2021 season between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams. In 16 games on the year, he had two touchdowns, 20 receptions, and 454 yards. If he commits to playing, he could find another home, but time will tell if he does that.
If Jackson were to call it a career, it's safe to say that he has had a very good one. In 176 career games between the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raiders, and Rams, he has 58 touchdowns, 632 receptions, and 11,110 yards. With that, he also is a three-time Pro Bowl and Super Bowl champion. We will have to wait and see if this is where his career stats end.
