NFL Rumors: Veteran Safety Wants To Make Comeback
While speaking with Adam Schefter, Earl Thomas noted that he is ready to make a comeback to the NFL.
Thomas has not played in the NFL since the 2019 season with the Baltimore Ravens. During that campaign, he certainly was still useful on the field, as he had two interceptions, 49 combined tackles, and 2.0 sacks. He even was named to the Pro Bowl. Yet, he found himself released by the Ravens before the following season, as he became well-known as being a problem in their locker room.
These issues made it hard for Thomas to find another home, but perhaps after missing multiple years, there could be a team willing to give him another chance. His excellent resume could help his chances, too. In 140 career games between the Seahawks and Ravens, he has 30 interceptions, two touchdowns, and 713 combined tackles. With that, he is a seven-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro, and a one-time Super Bowl champ. Let's see if all of this helps him find a new home in 2022.
