NFL Rumors: Seahawks Linked To Defensive End

The Seattle Seahawks could end up signing Mario Addison, as the club had a meeting with the veteran defensive end on Wednesday.

If the Seahawks were to successfully sign Addison, he would provide the team with another experienced player on defense. During his 11-year NFL career, he has appeared in 158 games between the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, Washington, and Buffalo Bills. During them, he has recorded 281 combined tackles and 67.0 sacks.

With the Bills last season, Addison showed that he can still be an effective player, too. In 17 contests, he had 7.0 sacks and 29 combined tackles. Perhaps this will help his chances of landing a deal - whether it's with Seattle or elsewhere.
