NFL Rumors: Rams Having Extension Talks With Star WR

According to Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, the team is continuing to have positive extension talks with Cooper Kupp.

Kupp is coming off of a spectacular 2021 season, so naturally, the Rams want to keep him around for a very long time. In 17 games on the year, he led the league in touchdowns (16), receptions (145), and yards (1,947). Without any surprise, he also was selected to the Pro Bowl and named a First-Team All-Pro.

With the Rams just winning the Super Bowl, it would be great for them to keep the fun going by signing Kupp to a long-term extension. This is something to keep a close eye on as the offseason continues to pass by.

In 71 career games with the Rams, Kupp has 40 touchdowns, 433 receptions, and 5,517 yards.
