NFL Rumors: Panthers Looking To Make Big Trade

According to Mike Giardi, the Carolina Panthers have been having discussions with other teams about potential trades for their sixth-overall pick.

The Panthers have made it known that they want to have more draft picks for the 2022 NFL Draft. With this year's draft class not possessing the strongest of QBs, trading down in it could open the door for them to take one. Furthermore, perhaps they could even use the sixth-overall pick to land themselves a veteran QB in a different kind of deal. Basically, they have several different options.

Yet, it's also important to note that it isn't a guarantee that the Panthers will end up trading their first-round pick this year. If they are unable to find an offer that makes sense for them, they will use it to make an upgrade at a different position on their roster. It will be intriguing to see what comes to fruition, but it would be wise to keep an eye on this development as we get closer to draft day.
