NFL Rumors: Packers And 49ers Talking Blockbuster

According to Ian Rapoport, the Green Bay Packers are expressing serious interest in San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

It isn't shocking at all that the Packers are considering the possibility of acquiring Samuel. They just traded Davante Adams earlier this offseason to the Raiders, so they are in need of some serious help at the WR position. Samuel, of course, would provide them with just that.

Samuel just completed the best season of his career with the 49ers last year, as he had six touchdowns, 77 receptions, and 1,405 yards. With that, he also was named to his first Pro Bowl and an All-Pro. The youngster appears to have room for growth, too, so at the end of the day, the Packers would benefit immensely by adding him.
