NFL Rumors: Eagles Interested In WR

According to Geoff Mosher and Adam Caplan, the Philadelphia Eagles are interested in Andre Roberts.

Although Roberts is a wide receiver, he is more noted for his immense success on special teams. His 2021 season between the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers shows that perfectly, as he had a whopping 1,010 yards on kick returns on the season. With that, he also added a touchdown for good measure.

His elite ability on special teams has allowed him to make it to three Pro Bowls over his career. With that, he also is a one-time All-Pro, so naturally, it makes sense that he is getting attention from the Eagles. Over his career, he has 6,716 yards on kick returns and three touchdowns.

Alas, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles are able to sign him to a contract before the start of next season.
