NFL Rumors: Eagles Interested In Star QB
According to Mike Florio, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to join the Kyler Murray sweepstakes if the Arizona Cardinals officially make him available.
Word has come out that the Cardinals and Murray are having contract disputes, and he is not expected to play unless he signs a new one. Thus, Arizona could be in a position where they may have to trade their 2019 first-overall pick if they do not make progress.
The Eagles have missed out on all the big QBs who were made available earlier this offseason. Yet, Murray officially being shopped would give them another opportunity to land one. He is coming off of a strong 2021 season that saw him throw 24 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and 3,787 yards. Given the fact that he is just about to enter his fourth season, there's reason to believe he will improve from here, too.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles end up acquiring Murray before the start of this season.
