Houston Texans Sign Running Back
The Houston Texans are signing Marlon Mack to a contract for the 2022 season.
Mack spent the 2021 season with the Indianapolis Colts. Yet, he only appeared in six games, where he had 101 yards on 28 rushes and zero touchdowns. Unfortunately, it wasn't the most impressive of showings for the running back, but he will be hoping to receive more opportunities with the Texans from here.
Before sustaining a torn Achilles during the 2020 season, Mack was an important part of the Colts' offense. He had 20 touchdowns over his first three seasons and reached 1,091 total yards during the 2019 campaign, too. Thus, he has shown in the past that he can be very effective. With some rest this offseason, it will be interesting to see if he can get back to those kinds of numbers.
Nevertheless, there's nothing wrong with the Texans taking a chance on Mack. We will have to wait and see if it ends up benefitting them.
