Giants Sign Tight End
The New York Giants have signed Jordan Akins to a one-year contract.
Akins has spent each of the last four seasons as a member of the Houston Texans. In 58 career games with the team, he had three touchdowns, 114 receptions, and 1,260 yards. Although he has never been particularly dominant, he will provide the Giants with more depth at the tight end position.
Akins' 2021 season saw him appear in 13 contests for the Texans. In them, he did not record a touchdown but did have 24 receptions and 214 yards. When it comes to the 2022 campaign with New York, he will be aiming to be more of an offensive threat.
Nevertheless, this is a little signing by the Giants, but it will be interesting to see what Akins provides for his new club.
