Bears Sign Tight End
The Chicago Bears have signed James O'Shaughnessy to a one-year contract.
O'Shaughnessy will provide the Bears with another experienced option at the tight end position. He spent the 2021 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he recorded 24 receptions and 244 yards. He didn't, however, score a touchdown all season.
With this deal, O'Shaughnessy is set to play for his third NFL team. In 80 career games between the Kansas City Chiefs and Jaguars, he has three touchdowns, 112 receptions, and 1,108 yards. It will be interesting to see how much these stats change after this season with Chicago.
Nevertheless, this seems like it could be a good little signing for the Bears.
