Raiders And Packers Complete Blockbuster
The Green Bay Packers have traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for their first- and second-round picks.
There were rumblings that Adams would end up there, as he even purchased a new home in Las Vegas during this saga. The Packers were committed to keeping the star receiver around, but he has decided that he wanted a change of scenery. Now, the Raiders are the lucky team to have landed him.
In 16 games with the Packers this past season, Adams had 11 touchdowns, 123 receptions, and 1,553 total yards. With these numbers, he made it to his fifth-career Pro Bowl and was named an All-Pro for the second time in his outstanding career. Thus, the Raiders are getting a major addition to their offense and are hoping to take that next step.
In 116 career games with the Packers, Adams had 73 touchdowns and 669 receptions. Green Bay will now have the very tough task of finding a replacement for him.
