NFL Rumors: Tom Brady Recruiting Star Receiver

According to Skip Bayless, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been recruiting star wide receiver Julio Jones to join the team.

Jones was released by the Tennessee Titans earlier this month after a rough season. In 10 games with the team, he had just one touchdown, 31 receptions, and 434 yards. Needless to say, it was a very down year for the veteran, but he will now be looking to bounce back elsewhere. If Brady has it his way, it will be with Tampa.

Jones was a Pro Bowler just two seasons ago, so there is reason to believe that he could be a star again with the Buccaneers. The truth is in his career stats. In 145 career games between the Atlanta Falcons and Titans, he has 61 touchdowns, 879 receptions, and 13,330 yards. With that, he is a seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro.

It will be interesting to see if Brady is successful with his recruiting and gets Jones on the team.
