NFL Rumors: Aaron Rodgers Choosing Between 4 Teams
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Aaron Rodgers is currently debating on where he will be playing next season. He is still considering staying with the Green Bay Packers, but he is also thinking about joining the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tennessee Titans.
Florio also noted that each team has trade terms and the contract Rodgers would sign if he elects to choose them. Therefore, if he decides to leave Green Bay and prefers to join one of the three other teams, a deal will be finalized immediately.
The Broncos have been linked to Rodgers all offseason, and it makes sense given their current QB situation. Furthermore, they are in an immensely strong AFC West division, so they need to make notable moves to have any chance of making the postseason next year.
The Steelers are understandably interested in Rodgers, as Ben Roethlisberger of course just retired. Heading into the season with Mason Rudolph as their starter may not be ideal, so if they can get Rodgers, they certainly will jump on the opportunity.
The Titans are known to be looking for an upgrade over Ryan Tannehill. Even though they finished this past season with a 12-5 record, they want to take that next step and feel they need an elite QB to make that happen.
