Chiefs Sign Star Receiver
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed JuJu Smith-Schuster to a one-year, $10.75 million contract.
Smith-Schuster will be looking to bounce back after a rough 2021 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In five games, he had 15 receptions and failed to record a touchdown. However, he now will be aiming to regroup in Kansas City and will have a franchise quarterback in Patrick Mahomes to help him with that.
Smith-Schuster has shown in the past that he is capable of being a star in this league. In 63 career games with the Steelers, he has 26 touchdowns, 323 receptions, and 3,855 total yards. With that, he also was named to the Pro Bowl during the 2018 season.
This has the potential to be a fantastic move for both parties, so let's see how the 25-year-old performs with this much-needed change of scenery.
