Browns To Sign Quarterback
The Cleveland Browns are continuing to stay busy, as they are now expected to sign Jacoby Brissett, according to Adam Schefter.
The Browns have already made two other moves regarding the QB position this week alone. First, they most notably acquired star QB Deshaun Watson in perhaps the biggest blockbuster of the offseason. Earlier on Saturday, they also traded Case Keenum to the Buffalo Bills. Now, we are just waiting for the Baker Mayfield trade to occur from here.
Brissett spent this past season with the Miami Dolphins and was backup to Tua Tagovailoa. However, he also got into a fair share of starts due to the former's injury. In 11 games and five starts, he threw five touchdowns, four interceptions, and 1,283 yards. With that, he also sported a 2-3 record. Overall, he had some decent moments and should work well as Cleveland's new backup.
Nevertheless, the Browns are continuing to stay busy. It will be interesting to see what else they do this offseason.
