Browns Release Wide Receiver

The Cleveland Browns have released Jarvis Landry as a way to open up more payroll for offseason moves.

The 2021 season wasn't a particularly dominant one for Landry. In 12 games, he had two touchdowns, 52 receptions, and 570 yards. Although it was a down year, there's no question that the veteran receiver should get a lot of attention on the market as a free agent.

Landry has shown in the past that he can be an elite receiver. Keep in mind, he is a five-time Pro Bowler who last made one only two seasons ago. In 123 career games between the Miami Dolphins and Browns, he has 37 touchdowns, 688 receptions, and 7,598 yards. Needless to say, he has had himself an impressive career and will be looking to continue it elsewhere.

It will be intriguing to see with Landry ends up from here. With teams always looking for at WR, it shouldn't take him long to sport his next jersey.
