Browns And Cowboys Complete Trade
The Cleveland Browns have acquired Amari Cooper and a sixth-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys for their 2022 fifth- and sixth-round picks.
The Cowboys made it known that they were going to trade Cooper this offseason due to his expensive contract. The veteran was getting a decent amount of interest around the league, but the Browns are officially the winners of the sweepstakes.
In 15 games this season with Dallas, Cooper had eight touchdowns, 68 receptions, and 865 total yards. Overall, it was another productive year for him, and the Browns will certainly be happy to have him as a part of their offense.
In 108 career games between the Oakland Raiders and Cowboys, he has 46 touchdowns, 517 receptions, and 7,076 yards. With that, he is a four-time Pro Bowler, so he does have the ability to be a game-changer. Let's see how he does with his new team from here.
