Bills And Browns Complete Trade
The Cleveland Browns have traded one of their quarterbacks. However, it's not Baker Mayfield yet. Instead, they have dealt Case Keenum to the Buffalo Bills for a seventh-round pick.
With the Bills losing Mitch Trubisky to the Pittsburgh Steelers via free agency, they needed some depth at the QB position. Now, they have found that in the veteran Keenum.
Keenum appeared in seven games with the Browns last season, and two of them were starts. In his starts, he had a 2-0 record and looked pretty solid in the process. Over the course of the season, he threw three touchdowns, one interception, and 462 total yards.
Keenum will not be competing with Josh Allen for the starting job, but he simply will provide them with more insurance in case of a rainy day. In 76 career games between the Houston Texas, St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Washington, and the Browns, he has thrown 78 touchdowns, 48 interceptions, and 14,876 yards.
