NFL Rumors: Dolphins To Bring Back Wide Receiver

The Miami Dolphins have four wide receivers set to become unrestricted free agents in Isaiah Ford, Will Fuller, Mack Hollins, and Albert Wilson. Yet, out of the quartet, they are most likely to bring back Hollins, according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

In 17 games this season with Miami, Hollins had four touchdowns, 223 total yards, and 14 receptions. Overall, it was a pretty solid year for the 28-year-old. Clearly, Miami liked what they have been seeing from him if they view him as their primary re-signing target.

After starting the season with a disastrous 1-7, they would go on to finish the season with a 9-8 record. They became the first team to have both a seven-game losing streak and a seven-game winning streak in the same season. It's promising that the latter came after the first, as it means that Miami will be coming into next season with higher expectations. They view Hollins as a player to help reach them.

In 65 career games between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dolphins, Hollins has six touchdowns, 56 receptions, and 750 yards. It will be intriguing to see if he builds on those totals next season with Miami or another franchise.
