NFL Rumors: Cleveland Browns Make Decision on Baker Mayfield's Future
It's the final week of the NFL season so expect to see a bunch of coaches and coordinators relieved of their duties and expect to see some teams make major decisions regarding quarterbacks. The Cleveland Browns are one team to watch today and word is the final decision has been made. Quarterback Baker Mayfield will be staying with the Browns.

There was some speculation brewing that the team would be moving on from Mayfield this offseason but apparently the noise has been quieted. Reports suggests Mayfield and Browns coach Kevin Stefanski are working well together and both enjoy each other's company. Mayfield has been pretty vocal about staying in Cleveland and it's great to see the organization show their support to end the season.
The 26-year-old QB is banged up and showed his toughness throughout the entire year. He's expected to head for offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and he isn't expected to dress in the Browns final game.
The team enters the final week with a 7-9 record as Mayfield has thrown seven picks this season. He has one year left on his rookie contract and appears to be finishing out his deal with the Browns.
