After three pretty good years in Miami, Dolphins management has fired head coach Brian Flores and many across the league are wondering why.

If you think Brian Flores was the problem ... wow.

Brian Flores in Miami:
— Rodger Sherman (@rodger) January 10, 2022
—5-11 with a team that seemed like the worst in the NFL (5-4 after 0-7 start)
—10-6, missing playoffs by one game
—9-8 (8-1 after 1-7 start), missing playoffs by one game
Don’t know how you fire that, given the obvious roster problems https://t.co/vGNBGR2K47
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Brian Flores is the first coach in world history to get fired after a season where he won seven games in a row and went 2-0 vs. Bill Belichick.

Flores was apparently in the middle of a power struggle with the Dolphins that stems down from general manager Chris Grier. This once again has drawn some attention back to Deshaun Watson, as Flores and Watson are close friends and wanted to work together in Miami. Many still believe a deal will get done between the Houston Texans and the Dolphins but it's certainly up in the air at this point.
#Dolphins coach Brian Flores was a signfiicant reason why Deshaun Watson wanted to be in Miami. WIth Flores out, this situation may have changed.

Sounds like Flores won't be out of a job very long and expectation is he becomes a serious candidate for the head coaching vacancy with the Denver Broncos. Needless to say, many across the NFL are questioning this move and surely the Dolphins are going to get blasted in the media over this transaction.
Brian Flores is another candidates to add to the Broncos’ head coach candidate list. He interviewed with Broncos a few years ago and showed good *leadership* (key word in this hiring process) through adversity this year.
