Dallas Cowboys Finally Receive Some Positive News
Get ready, Cowboys nation, Amari Cooper is coming back! The Dallas Cowboys announced on Wednesday that the star wide receiver will be active Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints.
Cooper is expected to play after missing the last two games with COVID-19. At this point it's unknown on how much he will play or how effective he will be, as the virus certainly takes a toll on everyone very differently.
Cooper is one of the only Cowboys who remains unvaccinated and has so far missed two straight losses to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Cowboys are in desperate need for a win and are happy to have Cooper back in the fold. Along with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, the trio will be all hands on deck for the first time since the opening week of the season.
As one comes another leaves, Cooper joins the team but they will be without head coach Mike McCarthy who has tested positive for COVID-19. Expect Dan Quinn to call the shots from his Defensive coordinator helm.
As for Cooper, he can't wait to get back on the field and build off a strong start to the season that includes 583 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Cowboys nation is ready to see what all their best players can do together on Thursday night.
