Cam Newton Named Starter in Carolina
As Cam Newton told the world on Sunday- he's back! The Carolina Panthers feel the same way as they plan to hand over the keys to their first team offense next week, essentially setting Newton to once again be QB1 in Carolina.
Panthers’ HC Matt Rhule said he will give Cam Newton most of the first-team reps at practice this week, which placed him square in line to start Sunday against the WFT.

Newton's 'debut' with his old but new club on Sunday was an impressive one. He was used in a variety of different ways and had two touchdowns in the first half, leading the Panthers to a 34-10 victory over the shorthanded Arizona Cardinals.
Newton signed a one-year deal with the Panthers after things didn't work out for the QB with the New England Patriots last season.
The Panthers are 5-5 on the season and could very well have a resurgence with Newton at the helm. They will try and push for a playoff spot in Week 11 as they take on the Washington Football Team. It will be great to see Newton and company go up against his former coach Ron Rivera.
One thing is for sure, expect Newton to play more than nine snaps against Washington.
