Broncos Coach Calls Ravens Out for "Bullshit" Play Call
The Denver Broncos are pissed off at the Baltimore Ravens. Broncos head coach Vic Fangio let it be known his team is livid with the Ravens decision to run a live play on the final down of Sunday's game, calling their antics "Bullshit".
The Ravens did hold a 23-7 lead and regularly you would see a team kneel down on the final play to run the clock out. This approach is sportsman like and never gets the other coach all fired up. The Ravens chose the opposite approach and decided to run a play to try and keep the team's 100-yard rushing streak alive. Let's just say Fangio and the Broncos didn't like what they saw out of the Ravens brass:
I thought it was kind of bullshit, but I expected it from them. Thirty-seven years in pro ball, I've never seen anything like that. But it was to be expected ... I just know how (the Ravens) operate. That's just their mode of operation there: Player safety is secondary

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has taken full responsibility for the play call, citing it was his decision. He mentioned the record meant a lot to the team and to the players. The Broncos on the other hand couldn't care less and the next time these two teams matchup against each other.....get your popcorn ready.
