Big Update on Gronk Facing the Patriots
Rob Gronkowski may not be Gronk Smashing in front of his old friends this Sunday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end is listed as doubtful as he's trying to tough it out through a rib injury.
At this point it seems to be a game-time decision for Gronk and the Bucs. Everyone who is a fan of football wants to see him and Tom Brady go off against the New England Patriots. The legendary tight-end played at Foxborough from 2010-18, winning three Super Bowls and filling his mantel with hardware.
Gronk has never played at Gillette Stadium as an opponent and this was his chance. He missed practice all week after injuring his ribs in Week 3. While X-rays came back negative, Gronkowski will be in tough to play as frankly, the Bucs could win without him and save a re-injury or something much worse.
Get your popcorn ready as regardless if Gronk is in the lineup, Brady is playing and the matchup againt their former team will be one for the ages.
