Week 2 Sunday Storylines: Packers, Bills & Cowboys
All of the talk surrounding the Packers this offseason was about Rodgers and his various comments about the team and his future. Could the distraction of all that noise be a factor in the loss? Maybe. But if the Packers don't hand it to the Detroit Lions on Monday night, you can bet things in Green Bay will turn sour real fast.Rodgers on why he took the ‘it’s-just-one-game’ approach after Sunday’s loss: “If we’re starting to freak out after one week, we’re in big trouble.” Also said there shouldn’t be ‘some big drastic change’ because ‘we’ve won a lot of games around here, lost a few, but you move on.” pic.twitter.com/vtojclNzyq

QB Josh Allen: Obviously, that’s not how we wanted to started the season. We aren’t going to panic, there are still 16 games left. #BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/5cqUfw3b8z

Allen might not panic but the rest of western New York will. Historically, teams that have gone 0-2 to start the season very rarely make the playoffs. The Pittsburgh Steelers are an underrated team but that's no excuse for how bad the Bills looked. The same goes for the Dolphins. They've made some big strides over the last 18 months but this should be a lock for the Bills.
The Dallas Cowboys were pumped to get their franchise QB, Dak Prescott, back last Thursday but once again, the Cowboys fell short. Defending SB Champs, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked solid and so did the Cowboys. However, two missed field goals cost them the game and they find themselves in a hole.
Jerry Jones said the Cowboys being tentative with K Greg Zuerlein in the preseason showed up against Tampa Bay. He needs to get his swing back

The Cowboys have a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers but they should be able to come out on top. In any case, these three teams have a lot to prove just two weeks into the season, so buckle up for another great weekend of football.
