Packers' Rodgers Takes Blame for Week One Loss to Saints
It's going to be an interesting season for the Green Bay Packers and it certainly got off on the wrong foot in Week One. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his teammates struggled and the New Orleans Saints took advantage. After the game the Packers QB wasn't shy about how bad he played.
Rodgers spoke to the media after the 38-3 loss and had this to say:
We probably felt like we were going to go up and down the field today on whoever was out there, and that didn't happen. We played bad. I played bad.
Rodgers completed 15 of 28 passes, for only 133 yards. His 36.8 passer rating was one of his worst performances of his career. Yes, it's a long season but considering all the drama that's gone on, the organization was hoping it could start the season off on the right foot. The Saints had other ideas.
Aaron Rodgers was out here talking about “The Last Dance” like he was Michael Jordan and then pulled up to week 1 to get shown up by Jameis Winston.
