Huge Deal: Panthers and Jaguars Pull Off Trade
The trade season is upon us in the NFL as the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars have pulled off a deal that sees cornerback CJ Henderson land in Carolina.
Trade! The #Panthers are closing in on a trade for CB CJ Henderson, sources say.

The details: CAR TE Dan Arnold and a third-round pick to the #Jaguars for the former Jax first-round pick Henderson and a fifth-rounder. Immediate help in Carolina, while Henderson starts new.
For new #Jaguars TE Dan Arnold, he becomes a top target for Trevor Lawrence. Jax went after him in free agency this offseason, so this makes sense. And for Carolina at 3-0, they make an aggressive move to build on their hot start. https://t.co/BJiBgixN2H

The Panthers were getting desperate to find help for the coverage team as landing a stud CB in Henderson shows their fan base the team is getting serious after their 3-0 start. The Jags on the other hand are trying to find their game and now add Arnold to their mix. As Rapoport reports, the tight end should become a useful target for rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence who has yet to get anything going through three weeks.
Look for more deals out of Carolina as their management team has made it known they are willing to make bold moves and will continue to have dialogue on deals across the league.
