Chiefs Andy Reid Leaves Game in Ambulance
The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday 30-24, but none of that mattered as all the attention post game was on the health of their head coach, Andy Reid. The Chiefs coach was escorted out of the stadium in an ambulance as he was not feeling well and the team wanted to be cautious.
Special teams coordinator Dave Toub had this to say postgame on Reid's status:
He just wasn't feeling well after the game. He did talk to the team, and it was a good talk. Pretty much, 'You have to quit the turnovers.
Reid is 63, and did speak to the team after the game. His message was pretty simple on how the team needs to clean up their act, and then proceeded to get medical attention. Prayers up for coach Reid and let's hope it's nothing serious and he's back on the field next week trying to lead the Chiefs to victory.
Chiefs’ coach Andy Reid was transported by ambulance to a local hospital following Sunday’s game. A source close to Reid told @espn and @JeffDarlington that the Chiefs’ HC was in good spirits when he departed for precautionary observation after he felt ill.
